Michael Walker's Personal Statement
I am Michael Walker, a Meadville native that is running for the 6th Legislative District. I worked 15 years in the heat treatment industry, starting at the bottom of the company and made my way up to management. I took that experience and opened a business called Blissful Meads. I am running because I see a bright future for this area. I was a kid when the tool and die industry was booming, and I know just how beautiful this area can be.
I want to work hard for our community. I want to update and restore our infrastructure and natural resources, I want to protect our population, and I want to build up our local industries. This it will take someone with a vision, someone dedicated and driven to make it happen so that when you and your family walk out your front door you can look at this place and feel as amazed by our home’s strength and beauty as I am.
